We made this beautiful Fall/Thanksgiving card. I found this online and again I couldn't "refind" it. When I do find it, I will give credit where credit is due.
This is a beautiful "Window Pane" card and the originator shared a really neat way to make window pane cards easily.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude (WM 120835, CM 121148, page 12 Holiday Mini)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze
Ink: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Old Olive, More Mustard
Embellishments: Old Olive 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon (119767, page 191), Antique Brads (117273, page 187)
Punch: 1 3/8” Square Punch (119877, page 202)
Base of card is Very Vanilla;
2nd layer is Cajun craze cut 5 ¼” x 4”.
3rd layer is Very Vanilla cut 3 ½” square.
4th layer is Very Vanilla cut 5” x 3 ¾”
To make your “window pane” punch out 4 1 3/8” square in a dark color. Lay them out on the 4th layer (approx ¼”from top and sides) – I eyeballed them to make them as even as possible. Adhere them with snail. Using your 1 3/8” punch, punch through both layers – you now have your “windows” cut evenly.
Adhere the 4th layer with dimensionals – stamp and cut out the leaves and adhere them with dimensions.
I poked a hole in the front left bottom and made up my bow by cutting a piece of Old Olive Taffeta ribbon and trimming the ends and then layering it three times – I then opened the prongs on the brad and folded the ribbon inside and then closed the prongs and inserted in through the hold and spread them out on the back!!
Hope you enjoyed this and don't hesitate to ask me any questions
