I had never seen a project made like this before - so simple and easy, but so cute.
You could add anything to the center - could even be a napking ring for your napkins for Thanksgiving. Just love the Decorative Punch that is new in the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. Card Stock: Cajun Craze Textured, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cajun Craze
Embellishments: 6" piece Very Vanilla 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (109055, page 191), 6" piece Linen Thread (104199, page 190)
Punch: Decorative Label (120907, page 25 Holiday Mini 2010)
The Cajun Craze Textured Card Stock is cut 8 1/2" x 3" and scored at 2", 4", 6" and 8". Punch a hole in one side of the textured card stock using the Decorative Label punch (we punched on the side with the 1/2" tab. Secure the flap with snail to make the sleeve. Stamp on the very vanilla card stock the thank you and one acorn - stamp another acorn (we used the Stampin' Write Markers to get the two-colors) and cut out with paper snips - adhere this acorn over the stamped one and adhere this piece to the inside of the sleeve showing through the decorative punched out piece.
Fill a medium cellophane bag (102757, page 170) with candy or goodies and tie with the 6" piece of linen thread. Then slip it into the sleeve. These would make cute napkin holders too!!
