It's hot here today, so nice to stay inside and keep cool!!
Well, the Stampin' Up Annual Convention is now over for 2010 - from all reports it was fabulous - I wasn't able to be there, but heard some wonderful things about it. Thanks to my convention buddy, Barbara Harmon, I was kept up-to-date on with wonderful phone calls. Fun, fun!!
One thing she shared with me and which I do want to share with you....Stampin' Up is offering a BONUS of $25 in Hostess Rewards if you book and hold a workshop from July 27th through August 31 and your workshop is at least $350!!. Call me today to book YOUR workshop and receive your bonus hostess rewards.
Wanted to share a cute card I saw on a demo only website and just had to case it.
Isn't he just the cutest little owl. He is made with the NEW Two-Step Owl Punch (118073, page 200)
And here's the inside
Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes (111672, page 111), Awash with Flowers (WM 117062, CM 120549, page 99), Woodgrain (117100, page 142)
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Basic Black, Play Date Designer Series Paper (117168, page 175)
Ink: Early Espresso
Embellishments: Hemp Twine (100982, page 190)
Punches: 2 3/8" Scallop Circle (118874, page 200), 13/4" Circle (119850, page 202), Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (119275, page 200), Two-Step Owl (118074, page 200)
I stamped the Woodgrain in Early Espresso on the fron to of the card and then used the 1 3/4" punch to punch out a circle. I then punched out a 1 3/4" circle on Old Olive and then lined up the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch - that made the "scallop" frame. I used a sponge dauber and daubed around the Scallop circle and then adhered it to the front.
Just love these little guys.
Stay tuned for more samples from the new catalog (if you don't have yours yet, let me know and I'll get one in the mail to you).
