I saw this little album online and just had to make it!!  Really cute, fun and easy to make

I cut a 12 x 12 Whisper White card stock into 3 strips 12 x 4 each.  I scored each piece at 4" and 8" and then folded them and attached one to the next to make the accordian. Then applied a 4 x 4 piece or Rose Red to the Front.  I then cut a 24" piece of Rose Red 1" Double Stitched ribbon and adhered to the back.  I added the Soft Suede Scallop Square over the ribbon.

A small album that would make a wonderful album for any occasion!!

Another Stampin' Up On Board Books Briefcase Sample

Here's another briefcase idea - an accordian album.  I saw this on another  blog and just had to try it!!

I used the same idea from yesterday's post about adhering the DSP to the chipboard briefcase.  You can see that post here

I then used 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of tempting turquoise card stock scored at 4 1/4.  I adhered 4 pieces together to make the accordian.  Then decorated the pages!

A really fun project - I still have 4 briefcase pieces left.  A really inexpensive project!!

ON Board Briefcase

Have you noticed the On Board Briefcase that is in the Summer Mini?  for just $4.95 you get 8 pieces of natural chipboard pieces and rings to make your own book.  I wanted to try something different, and so after cruising around and see what others are doing with this, I came up with a couple of ideas.  Reasonable price and fun projects.

Here's a card case I made with two of the briefcase pieces

Card Stock:  Bermuda Bay, Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper (115673, page 163)

Embellishments:  Silk Flowers and medium half pearl from the Pretties Kit (109114, page 178), 1/2" Bermuda Bay Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (115610, page 182)

I covered both briefcases pieces with Thoroughly Modern DSP by laying the briefcase piece down on the paper and drawing around it with a pencil and cutting it out with my paper snips.  I used Stampin' Up Anywhere Glue Stick (104045, page 192) to adhere the paper to the chipboard (both sides).

I found some dimensions on Glenda's blog (not sure of her last name) for the box to hold the cards.  I cut Bermuda Bay CS 8 1/2 x 9/7/8.  I then scored on the 9 7/8" side at 1 3/8 and 7 1/8.  On the 8 1/2" side I scored at 4 1/2 and 5 5/8.  Score all side and cut up to the scoreline on the long side.  Fold into a box and adhere with sticky tape.  Put sticky tape on both outsides of the box and adhere to the two chipboard pieces.  I will do a quick picture tutorial if you need it and will leave a comment on this post!

Stampin' Up Builder Wheels

The Stampin' Up Builder wheels give you lots of possibilities.  You can put three wheels into your jumbo wheel handle and stamp in three different colors!!  How cool is that.  Here's a card made with three builder  wheels and three different colors.

Watercolor Trio

Kathy made this beautiful card from the Summer Mini.  She also used the new Smooch Spritz and it really ads a lot!!  Unfortunately it's hard to see in the picture!

Kathy rolled the Red, White and Blue once in Brilliant Blue and then using Stampin' Write Markers in Brilliant Blue and Real Red, she colored the flat on the roller and rolled it on Whisper White.  She then cut that out and mounted it with dimensionals on the Brilliant Blue!!  Really turned out stunning!!
