My son and his fiance announced their engagement and they are to be married April 3rd. We are SO happy for them. I was privileged to help them with their invitations, so wanted to share them with you all.
Their colors are Brilliant Blue and Green Galore. They decided to send these to the family. The hearts actualy "lock" together
And the inside
These are their engagement pictures!!
And here are the invitations for friends
Under the vellum
And then I designed their thank you notes
What fun this was and I feel honored they wanted to use something I made :)
But I need to tell a story that goes along with these invitations. As I said above their colors are Brilliant Blue and Green Galore - when I designed the invitations I put the Green Galore brads on and we all loved them more than any other color. Then I went to write everything down that I needed to order and realized there are only 50 GG brads in each little container. At the time, they told me they probably would need 275 invitations. YIKES - 550 Green Galore brads. So.....I went to my special demonstrator list, SUDSOL (Stampin' Up Demonstrators Sharing On Line). I asked for solutions to my problem - it was going to cost almost $100 just for the brads alone. I could change the color, but we really didn't like silver or gold. Was there a place to order them in bulk (but then we couldn't be assured they would match).
A very kind lady (thank you Nancy) wrote back and said she would never, never use her Green Galore brads and I could have them!! She sent this to me and also to the list and all these kind ladies offered me their brads also - and over the next few days - guess what filled my mailbox? Green Galore brads!!!
So we had enough brads to do all the invitations - which, BTW, are in the mail!!
Thank you - you know who you are!!
Wow this is just beautiful! Congratulations to them. I love the colors too. Great Job!!!!
