Follow Your Heart - It Knows the Way Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration Products

My son is in the process of buying a new home - and I wanted him to know we are thinking about him, so I made this card.  A big step, but I know he wil follow his heart whatever happens!!

This is a very simple layout - just the card base and then some of the Welcome Neighbor paper cut with the 1 1/4" square punch and mounted on the Tempting Turquoise.  Then I stamped the sentiment and cut out the house, tree and cloud and mounted them with dimensionals!!

Tote-ally Tess says Thanks

A week or so ago, I asked for some advice on a list I'm on.  The good ladies of this list, out of the kindness of their hearts shared their extras with me. I wanted to thank all these ladies, so I made this little card tonight after seeing the idea online - I changed it a bit and here's what I came up with!!

Stamp Set:  Tote-ally Tess (WM 117075, CM 118595, page 41 Occasions Mini 2010) , All Holidays (114916, page 43)

Card Stock:  Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pack (117161, page 33 Occasions Mini 2010), Sending Love Speciality Designer Series Paper (117153, page 13 Occasions Mini 2010)

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Black Stazon, Blender Pen (102845, page 192)

Punches:  Modern Label (116630, page 186), Word Window (105090, page 186)

Technique:  I did some paper piecing with Tote-ally Tess.  I first stamped her image with Black Stazon on Whisper White card Stock and then stamped again on a piece from teh sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pack.  I cut out her blouse and pants and then mounted them on her image. 

I used the blender pen to color her hair and shoes.

This was definitely a fun card and I'm going to send it to each kind gal who sent me brads.  I will leave enclose a note on a post-it, so the card can be used again!!

Paper Flowers Valentine's Card

I saw a video online for making these darling paper flowers.  They are really simple and add a lovely touch to your projects

I will do a little tutorial soon on how to make these flowers.  I just cut out the four circles with the Circles #2 Big Shot die - roughed them up by wadding them - flattened them out and added the brad.  Simple, but fun and elegant!!

Z Fold Valentine's Card

I'm not sure if that is the right name, but it does look like a "Z", so that's what I'm calling it.  A fun card and still the right size to fit into an A2 envelope

For the card base, cut your card stock the long way 4 1/4 x 11.  Score at 5 1/2" and at 2 3/4".  Fold the front part back and then add your top square (with heart) and adhere half of it to the front!!

Monochromatic Valentine's Day Card

Jackie Topa is one of my stamping heros and she did this card in black and white;  I thought it was just beautiful so decided to try it in red and white for Valentine's Day

I didn't punch all the way to the ends on any punch - "kind of" lined them up, but not really!

A Valentine A Day

Just a Lovin'

Yep, me again with another Valentine's Day card.  For this one I popped up the front layer of hearts by just bending them over my finger!!

I hope you aren't tired of Valentine's Day cards.  This is a favorite time of year and I just love making these cards.  I promise to go on to something else as soon as I share all these I have made recently.

This was a hit Saturday at my Valentine's Day Stamp-A-Stack

I cut both a real red and pretty in Pink Heart of Hearts Embosslit.  I then stamped "Love You Much" on Whisper White used the Full Heart Punch and put that over the pink heart- love that look of the scallop behind the lettering!

This really is a simple card to make, but really stunning - I cased it from someone online - can't remember where I saw it, but if it's yours, please email me and I will gladly give you credit.
