Here's another card which I just had to make - I saw a similar one somewhere and just had to try it. I didn't put a sentiment - will save it until I figure out to use it!

And now someone has come up with a great idea how to use this paper in more ways than just for weddings and brides.
This technique is what I call Brayer Resist. You can use any classic ink with your brayer and brayer over the bride paper - a whole new look!!

Don't you just love Autumn - we drove over the mountain this weekend and the leaves were just beautiful!!
Catherine designed this beautiful card for our club meeting at her home last week!! Everyone enjoyed it so much!!
Stamp Set: Autumn Days (115452, page 92)
Card Stock: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Confetti Cream
Ink: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Summer Sum
Embellishments: 1/2" Crushed Curry Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (115614, page 182), Gold Brads (104337, page 179)
Big Shot: Original Die Ovals (114525, page 202)
Technique: Masking
We used a mask so get the oval. First we adhered the mask on the confetti cream card stock. We brayered with crushed curry over the confetti cream. The next step was to sponge summer sun and dusty durango over the crushed curry. Then stamped with the stamp around the mask. We then took off the mask and added the white in crushed curry and the pheasant in dusty durango. We sponged with dusty durango over the bottom of the mask. Then just added the ribbon and the brads. Quick, easy card, but so elegant!!! Thanks Catherine!

At our club meeting last week, we made these darling little Jack-O-Lantern candy holders. I cased this idea and I want to thank the original person. These will hold any kind of candy or little gifts you have for your little pumpkins!
Isn't he just the cutest little guy - no scary at all :)

Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic Black
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Punches: Photo Corner (109042, page 186), 1 3/8" Square (104401, page 186) I punched this square and then cut it in 4th's diagonally for the nose.
Big Shot: Top Note Die (113463, page 198), Leaves #2 (113459, page 202)
Cut two top die notes in Pumpkin Pie card stock. Cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie 6" x 5 1/2". Score at 1" and at 5" on the 6" side. Then turn the 5 1/2" side and score at 2 1/4"; turn and score again 2 1/4".
Fold along the score lines and make your box (open top). Adhere the sides. Then add sticky tape (104294, page 192) on both front and back of box.
I used a sponge dauber (102892, page 192) on the top note dies and the leaf to give it dimension.
I adhered the top notes on the box and then added the old olive leaf with mini glue dots.
I filled our small, flat cellophane bags (103104, page 159) with about 1/2 cup candy corn and then tied the bag with a piece of 1/4" pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon (109030, page 183).

The black "bookmark" piece of cardstock is embellished and goes between the Old Olive backing for the sweet treat cup and the card. You cut out your 1 3/4" circle in the card base, the elegant eggplant piece and the old olive back. The black piece slips out and the candy is accessible for little fingers and then you can "recharge" the card!!

I stamped the pumpkin face in white craft ink on the back of the black piece.
Slide the black piece up and you have CANDY!!
