We're really winding down toward the end of Technique Tuesday. We've done a whole year of techniques. I really want to thank my gals for sticking with me!!
Watercoloring is a fun and easy technique! Now I'm NOT an artist. Have you every said that? But I FEEL like one when I watercolor! We used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons and the Aqua Painter. SO easy and yet so effective.
Here's the card we did in class.

We used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons - colored on the outside of the flowers and leaves and then using the Aqua Painter we drew the color from the crayons into the figure. We are ARTISTS!! LOL
Here's another card I made
Stamp Sets: Embrace Life (114958, page 93), Short & Sweet (115060, page 173)

And another card done with Watercolor Wonder Crayons
Stamp Set: Just Buzzin' By (113228, page 57)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Whisper White, So Saffron Designer Series Paper (112152, page 159)
Ink: Basic Black, Black Stazon, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aqua Painter
Big Shot: Top Note Die (113463, page 196)
For "X" I did have a time coming up with something. So I went with "Xtreme Chipboarding." I know, stretching it a bit - but we hadn't done anything with chipboard, so this was fun.
There is SO that you can do with chipboard. Especially with the Big Shot. You can cut chipboard with the original and Bigz dies. What fun!! You can cover your chipboard with designer paper. You can use beads. Or just use it in it's original state!!
Here's the card we did
Stamp Set: A Happy Heart (111758, page 26)
Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Bella Rosa Designer Paper,
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Embellishments: Riding Hood Red 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (111374, page 178), On Board Essentials (112085, page 182), Big Shot Serif Essentials Alphabet (113464, page 196), Red Bead Duo (110731, page 180)
Punch: Scallop Edge (112091, page 184)
And here's another card
Stamp Set: Short & Sweet (115060, Page 137)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Parisian Breeze Speciality (113993, page 158)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (109051, page 179), Jumbo Brads 5/16" Neutral Assortment (112534, page 174), Big Shot Die Build a Flower (113471, page 197), Big Shot Sizzlits Dies Lots of Tags (114508, page 201)
This new textured paper Parisian Breeze Speciality is just scrumptous. I applied it to the chipboard with glue stick, and ran it through the Big Shot. I don't recommend this because is jammed down into the die. So, my suggestion is to not use chipboard and the new textured paper together.
And one more using just the bare chipboard!!
