I usually don't do many St. Patrick's Day cards, because I'm not Irish!! My Dad was English!! That's tells the whole story LOL
But I just had to share this card I found on Connie Babbert's wonderful blog. I changed it very little because her card was just perfect - we made it at a couple of workshops, and the gals loved it!!
Stamp Set: Sincere Salutations (115068, page 135)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Garden Green, Whisper White, Certainly Celery Patterns Designer Series Paper (112154, page 159)
Ink: Garden Green
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (111849, page 178), Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads, Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (105021, page 190)
Punch: Full Heart ((113693, page 184)
I made this card 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square - Stampin' UP Sells the 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Medium Square Envelopes to fit this size card perfectly (107289, page 157)
I saw this next card again somewhere and can't find it again. I didn't have a shamrock for his hat, so ended up using a small piece of the Fresh Cuts stamp set vine. Isn't he just the cutes little leprechaun
Stamp Set: On Your Birthday (111664, page 141), Fresh Cuts (111634, page 92)
Card Stock: Kraft, Garden Green, Basic Black, Blush Blossom, Really Rust
Ink: Basic Black, Garden Green
Embellishments: Build-A-Brad Pewter (109128, page 174)
Punches: 1/2" circle, 3/4" circle, Round Tab Punch (all on page 184)
Big Shot Die: Top Note (113463, page 196)
I made the mouth with the Round Tab Punch - I stuck in the paper and cut the round tab and then just stuck in one side and punch off a little bit more! I used dimensionals to "raise" his nose and free-handed the Really Rust for the beard!! A really fun card!!
Gosh this is one cute little leprechaun. Lovely Job.
