Hostess Gifts for March Club Hostesses

I absolutely love making handmade gifts for my hostesses and this month I used the

gorgeous Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper combined with the

Sale-A-Bration Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

I saw this set on Julie Gilson's site and just had to make it up!!

This set includes a box and 4 cards using the Note cards and Envelopes

These are such a bargain – you get 20 note cards and 20 envelopes for just $6.00!!

Here's a brief tutorial with measurements on the box

Berry Burst Card Stock cut at 9 1/4" x 8" and scored on the 8" side at 1 1/4" x 6 3/4"

Turn and score on the 9 1/4" side at 4" and 5 1/4"

Cut up to the score lines on the sides and taper for the tabs (see picture)

Add Tear & Tape to one side and fold into a box

Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper 8 1/8" x 3 7/8

Score on all side at 1 1/4"

Cut up to the score lines on the ends and cut off the corners

Add Tear and Tape and fold in to form the lid

Cut two pieces of Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper 12" x 1/2" and 5 1/2" x 1/2"

Wrap the 12" piece around the bottom of the box – and fold to the back.  Add the 5 1/2" x 1/2" piece over the back 

Cut out the tag from the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies and stamp "For You" from Cake Soiree in Berry Burst.  Stamp the flower in Berry Burst and cut out with the coordinating Framelit and add to the tag with dimensionls

Tie the Berry Burst Metallic Edged Ribbon around the box and using the Silver Baker's Twine to tie the tag

Whisper White – small scraps for cutting roses

I stamped the roses with VersaMark and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and then colored with Berry Burst Stampin' Write Markers
