Eclipse technique – have you seen it?

Maybe you've seen some of the wonderful ideas on Pinterest or elsewhere using the Eclipse Technique

SUCH a great idea!

I'm going to share this as a demonstration in my clubs at the end of the month, but wanted to share it here!

Can you see how the "YOUR" stands out?  That's the "eclipse" technique

Isn't that stunning?

I want to make lots more of these cards!!

Measurements

Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Here's a little written tutorial

Stamp on the front of your card base

Using the Large Letter Thinlits Dies, cut out your "word"

Remove the pieces, but SAVE the ones that are cut out – on mine it's the center of the "O" and "R"

 

Add a piece of card stock cut 5 1/4" x 4" to the inside front

Adhere the pieces shown in the arrows above down

Remove the letters and add dimensionals on the back and pop up the letters

Really easy, eh?
