4- Panel Valentine Card
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
I wanted to share one last Valentine Card with you
This is a Fun Fold Card – I saw it first on Lyssa Zwolenk's blog and fell in love with it
Such a fun card – I shared it with my club members last month and they loved it
And now I want to share a quick tutorial – and keep watching my blog for more samples and I kinda went crazy (as usual!!)
First I'll start with a list of measurements
Card Base 11 1/2" x 5 1/4" scored at 1/4", 3 3/4" and 7 1/2" on the 11 1/2" side. Then turn and score 5/8" JUST to the 1st score line (see picture below)
Cut one more piece of the card base color 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
There are 5 panels to decorate
These measurements are using solid sheets – with the Valentine Card I cut the "layers" to 1/2" size, so just adjust for that
Front & Inside Front panels
Cut 2 of each
Mats 4" x 2 1/2"
Layers 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Interior 2 panels
Cut 2
Mats 4 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Layers 4 1/2" x 3"
Back Panel
Cut 1
Mat 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 5" x 3 3/4"
Photo Tutorial for cutting card base
Score card base at 1/4" x 3 3/4" and 7 1/4" on the long side
Turn and score at 5/8" JUST to the 1st score line
Cut off that section that you just scored
Accordion fold the card base and then add Tear & Tape to the 1/4" tab
Adhere the 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" piece to this tab
Clip off the small piece at the top of the tab
Your card base is done
Now you just have to decorate your card
Here are the layers I used for the Valentine Card
I cut the mats using the above measurements and then added 1/2 the designer series paper
