Pinwheel Card

I shared this fun Pinwheel Card with my clubs this month

And you "gently" pull two of the triangles apart and this is inside

Stamp Set:  Circle Sayings (161348)

Cardstock:  Azure Afternoon Card Base (161719) 5 ½” x 4 ¼”; 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”; 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”

Basic White (159276) 5 ¼” x 4”; 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (161449) 6” x 6”

Ink:  Azure Afternoon (161663)

 

 

To make the pinwheel: 

• Score the 6” x 6” DSP at 1 ½” on all 4 sides.
• Cut out each corner

 

• Fold along the score line on one side. And then fold up the right corner to make a triangle. Do this on all 4 sides

 

• Now fold each side into the middle and laying the 2^nd one over the first one, 3^rd over the 2^nd and then when you come to the last one, tuck it inside the first one

• Adhere this to the 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” Azure Afternoon cardstock.
• Adhere the Basic White piece 5 ¼” x 4” to the card base and then the pinwheel to the front of the card.
• Stamp the Happy Birthday on the front
• Now stamp the Celebrate Because You’re Awesome on the Basic White 2 ½” x 2 ½”. Adhere it to the Azure Afternoon 2 5/8” x 2 5/8” and to the inside of the pinwheel.
• To open, grab two opposites sides of the pinwheel and gently pull open!
